Our Schedule and Classes
All Dulin classes have one teacher and one parent helper assigned to each class. Children must reach the appropriate age for a class on or before September 30 of the current school year. Our school year runs from the second week of September through the end of May (Memorial Day), and we follow the vacation schedule and cancellation policies of Fairfax County Public Schools.

Which class
will my child be in?
BEARS: 2s
Our BEARS class has approximately 12 children. Children must reach the age of 2 years on or before September 30 of the current school year.
OWLS: Younger 3s
Our OWLS generally turn 3 years old during the preceding spring or summer. The OWLS class has approximately 12 children.
LIONS: 4s & Older 3s
Our LIONS class is a Pre-K class consisting of 4-year-olds who will be attending kindergarten the following year and older 3-year-olds. The LIONS class has approximately 14 children.
FOXES: 4s & Older 3s
Our FOXES class is a Pre-K class consisting of 4-year-olds who will be attending kindergarten the following year and older 3-year-olds. The FOXES class has approximately 14 children.
Optional Programs
Lunch Bunch
Lunch Bunch is an optional extended day for children enrolled in the OWLS, LIONS & FOXES. The children in Lunch Bunch see friends in other classes, eat their home-brought lunches as a group, and have the opportunity for additional outdoor or Rainy Day Room play.
12:30 – 2:00 PM one afternoon per week

Enrichment
Enrichment is an optional extended day for children eligible to enter kindergarten the following year.
